[Report on the Final Screening] UNIQLO Creative Award and Final Screening at Hotel New Otani The 27 finalists, Grand Prix and Judges' Choice Awards winners are chosen!
Attending the final screening were the president of the judges Kashiwa Sato, painter Yoshitaka Amano, architect Kengo Kuma, artist Katsuhiko Hibino, Sarah of Colette, and the artists of Delta. After about 2 hours of discussion, the selection process was complete.
It's not just a question of design. The look of the design as its printed on the actual fabric of the T-shirt is also important. The judges handle the T-shirts to get the feel of them, imagining what it feels like to actually wear them.

Again this year, 27 distinctive works from masters of the aesthetic arts around the world were further narrowed down to the top ten T-shirts.
Each judge wrote down their various picks and their reasons for choosing them, and the results were tallied up. From the 27 works, several leading ones were identified.

The judges discussed the design and message of each T-shirt from various angles to narrow down the Grand Prix work. "Which one would I choose for a magazine?" "This one would be suitable for Colette." "Could you arrange them separately in men's and women's categories?", etc.
From a shortlist of candidates, after long and careful consideration, the Grand Prix winner is decided!
Then the works nominated by each judge were selected for the Judges' Choice Awards. Finally, some time after 8 pm, the screening was complete.
